Breast pain and tenderness

Asked for Female, 27 Years

I m a mother of 1 and half year old baby girl and i still breastfeed her. She started feeding from only one side breast when she was 3 months old...since then she feeds from that side only...I got my periods 2 days ago and from last two days suddenly pain on touching and tenderness in my one breast started;that breast from which i don't feed.Why so...plz help.

The pain could be the mild pain some people get just before periods and settles after periods. Cyclical mastalgia doesn't cause problems. Is there excessive milk accumulation , please check. Do you have fever, is there redness or lump felt? Then you will need to be examined by a doctor, please visit nearby hospital
