Breast milk storage

Asked for Female, 25 Years

My daughter is 8 months 2 days old, she weighs 9 kg. She is breastfed and i give her khichdi, boiled veggies etc, she don't take formula milk, i have to go somewhere tomorrow, for how long we can store expressed breast milk and at what temprature and in which type of container?

Hi, You can store breast milk at room temperature for 4 hrs and little longer if you stay in cold place In the fridge you can store for weeks

Store in a clean container, any material ok. If you store in the fridge, warm the milk by placing in hot water and not on direct heat.
