My boy is almost 3 months old, he is taking breastmilk plus 3 formula feed at night(80ml each), because he seems not to be satisfied with breast milk at night. He was born premature (35 weeks) with 2.1 kg weight, now he is 4.7 kg in weight. Do 3 formula feeds cause weight gain?. Is it possible that in day time also his stomach is not getting full with breastmilk but he is only reacting at night. He is quite active and passes urine 12-15 times in a day.
Thanks in advance

Weight gain is adequate, but I would suggest to go for exclusive breast feeding. You can express breast milk and with proper precautions that can be given for 2times to the baby at night.
