Breast abscess - Mammogram attached
Dear Doctor
My mom has breast lump which is painfull and red
She is on Augmentin 625 from three days now
Attached the mammogram report which mention the details of the issue in right breast and it says likely to be breast abscess
Based on the attached report request you to kindly please help me understand if my mom will be recovered with the Augmentin 625 continued (if yes please suggest how many days more) or if she will need higher dose or any other treatment

They abscess should resolve after 5 days of antibiotic therapy if not she would require incision and drainage of pus
