Hit my head by mistake

I hit my head fairly hard this morning while I was opening my almirah to search for something. There was no bleeding and the exact spot where I hit my head does not hurt much, but since then I’ve been feeling dizzy and not quite like myself. I have mild dizziness, a strange “off” feeling in my head, and slight pain at the back of my head (even though I didn’t hit that area). I could not study for more than 1 hour because I was feeling "off". Is this normal? Do I need to rush to emergency? I didn't have any blackout or vomiting..

Scary neurological symptoms on n off

Am a 26-year-old male having recurrent episodes of neurological-type symptoms: • right-sided heaviness/“weakness” feeling (hand and foot more noticeable) • dizziness/light-headedness • mild head pressure There is no objective weakness — I can lift my arm and leg, walk normally, walk on heels/toes, grip objects, and do fine finger movements. Strength and coordination appear normal, but the right side feels achy/heavy. These episodes do not start suddenly like a stroke and usually last for several hours. History: • 2024: similar episode → CT brain normal • March 2025: severe episode → MRI brain normal • Symptom-free for months, now symptoms have returned since yesterday/today. I want to know the possible causes, whether any further evaluation is needed, and how to manage or prevent these episodes.

2 febrile seizures in a day.

My child with 3 years of age got febrile seizure like two febrile seizure in 24 hours. In the begining he was taking levetiracetam (1.5 ml) twice a day. After eeg report, my doctor advised me to increase the dose by 0.25 (1.75ml) now and also changed the syrup to Levipil. He started taking levipil in the month of August. Now today the date is 28 January. It's almost 6 months from now. My doctor advised me to continue the syrup . Shall I continue the syrup or reduce the quantity or should I give one time. Please suggest me with your precious reply. My mother told me that I also got seizure but she didn't even gave for any syrup. I am totally confused what to do in this situation. As almost everyone told me to consult another doctor if the child is ok. Earlier my doctor told me to continue for 3 months after eeg she said continue for more 3 months then we'll do another eeg. but now she is not interested in eeg rather she is simply saying to continue the syrup for another 6 months.

Sciatica symptoms

On January 6th, early morning, I was working with my team and as I stretched on the left side to fetch a packet, I experienced severe pain on my right leg, starting from my buttocks through the ankle. The pain was excruciating and continuous. I took two pain killers tablets of Voveran SR, but the pain remained. After about two hours, I somehow managed to visit an acupuncture doctor. The needle therapy relieved me a little, but I was still unable to sit. I continued the treatment for 4 days and then started physiotherapy. At the physiotherapy center, the physiotherapist forced my leg upwards as I was lying down on my back and the pain came back. The next day in the evening, I experienced the severe pain again. It got me in tears. After 5 hours, 5 pain killer tablets and 1 tramadol injection the pain subsided. Now, I am scared to do any movement. My right lower ankle stays stiff and has a continuous pain. Also the lower right leg has no sensation on the skin. Please help!

Incident of dog

Hello doctor, Iam seeking a risk assessment regarding a potential indirect exposure to rabies. Here are the details: Past Vaccination: I completed a full course of 5 doses of Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV) on September 19th.Following the incident yesterday, I have already taken a Day 0 dose last night after incident(Jan 25th).The incident:At approximately 4:30 PM yesterday, a barking dog's saliva droplets fell onto my phone screen.I immediately rubbed the droplets into the screen with my fingers.I was outdoors in the sun (temp approx 18°C). Timeline:I continued using the phone (gaming) for 2.5 hours. I reached home at 7:30 PM (3 hours post-incident).  Upon reaching home, the phone was placed on a sofa and some notebooks. I later sanitized the phone and the notebook covers with an alcohol-based sanitizer.  Concerns: Is there any risk from the sofa or notebooks where the phone was kept before sanitization there any risk of transmission through to my face or for family

Bell's palsy physiotherapy

Hello Doctors , I got Bell's palsy 12 days back ,went to see doctor , he prescribed me standard medicine Prednisolone and antiviral which is fine . And asked me to consult physiotherapist . I have completed almost 7 session of physiotherapy what concerned me most that physiotherapist is using electrical stimulation which I have read about can cause synkinesis. Also other centre I enquired about said they use advanced pneumatic radial shockwave therapy extracorporeal shockwave therapy on facial nerve trunk in front of ear . I haven't heard about this shockwave therapy anywhere else . Please try to answer my question whether should I continue with electrical stimulation or go with this shockwave therapy. I have grade 3 Bell's palsy with good movement on the affected . Eyebrow can't be lifted equally on the both side

Facing parasthesia in my whole body

I experience burning, tingling, and sometimes a wet or electric-like sensation as well as twitching involving all four limbs. The sensations do not occur in all limbs at the same time and tend to fluctuate in location and intensity. They are most noticeable in my hands and feet. I do not have any objective weakness, loss of strength, or difficulty with walking or daily activities. The symptoms are mainly sensory in nature and are very annoying and distracting, affecting my ability to concentrate, but without any loss of function I have attached my mri report of spine and i also have a clean ncs study Please advice
