Not at all.. Tooth extraction is only done for cases where there is insufficient space. For mild cases it may be possible to correct the teeth without extractions. In such cases other methods for creating space can be used.

tooth extraction is necessary,it is only for the premolars to gain space for the treatment.In some cases,there is large size jaw and already have space so no need of the extraction.
