BP readings in the morning & evening
At 9 am systolic 125 & dystolic 73, pulse 70. At 8pm the readings are 140, 80, 75. The readings mentioned are average of 3 readings. This is the pattern for almost all days with minor variation. Why this much difference in the BP in the morning and evening?. I am 76 years old male, not diabetic and taking no bp tablets. Taking one DUTALOSIN tablet per day for prostate connected problem. Otherwise I am very healthy. My only concern is why the difference in the morning and evening BP readings. Thanks in advance

These are normal diurnal variations seen. BP is never constant throughout the day. You don’t need any medicine at these BP levels at your age.
