My son goes for loo 3-4 times a day. Is this
normal. Recently he had some infection and was given antibiotics through IV for 5 days. Stools look normal. Stools were also tested and doctor said nothing to worry about results. There were some puss cells in stools. He eats well, remain active,but goes to toilet 3-4 times a day.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Many a tines children of this age do not chew food properly, and thus you may find child having increased number of stools with undigested particles in it. Also another reason could be recent antibiotics. Do offer you child curds 2 tines a day, for 1 week and also encourage him yo chew food.
