Blood while Breast feeding
At times while feeding my nipples bleed.. This puts me in worry in case baby takes inside his mouth that little blood while sucking, will it cause any infection to the baby

If painful too,you probably have cracked nipples. Apply elovera cream after feeds and cleaning the nipples/breasts. If NOT accompanied by pain,consult your gynaecologist asap. Small quantities swallowed by your baby will not cause any harm,provided you have no blood borne infection. His stool may turn black due to swallowed blood. So,rather than the baby,YOU need medical attention!!
