Blood in poo
My baby is 11months old and when passing her poo today slight blood got discharged. She had the constipation problem last week and passed her poo after 4days. She did not cry before and now. Can I know the reason for this blood discharge pls..

Constipation in 11 month old is unfortunate. May I please request you to see a paediatrician to discuss your baby's diet. Blood in poo during constipation could be because of straining at stools, but at 11 months, it should be rare. If the problem persists, please see a surgeon. I would like him to rule out the possibility of intestinal polyps.

She passed hard stools I guess..that's why that blood in stools. Give her diet containing fibres like vegetables and fruits...
