If the mother s Rh negative and father Rh positive then the fetus cn beRh positive.
In first pregnancy no problem happens , however in subsequent pregnancy it cn lead to Rh isoimmuization which cn be a problem for the fetus.
To prevent this after the first delivery inj anti D is given.
