Blood cancer
Do blood cancer genetically transfers between siblings? One of my friends brother died after fighting 8 years from blood cancer. What are the chances that the same desease can happen to his siblings(brother/sister) as well? Or there is no such possibility?

Hi there. Blood cancer ie leukemia has many variants. They occur due to genetic and environmental causes leading to mutation of genes Most cases of leukemia are not believed to be hereditary, but certain genetic mutations and conditions can be passed along to offspring that increase the chances of developing leukemia.. so chances of siblings getting same cancer depends on which type of leukemia and what mutation.
