Hi I have seen blood and mucus with stools, is there anything to be worried and my kid is 2 years old I feel bit stressed and I don't get proper sleep also. And recently I had gone through the surgery which is endometriosis and they gave lupride injection as well so I am not getting periods also. Is this associated with that please clarify

Blood and mucus in stool is not usually related to endometriosis surgery or Lupride injection directly. Most common causes in your situation can be: 1️⃣ Constipation after surgery / stress / hormonal treatment – Hard stool can cause anal fissure or piles, leading to fresh blood and mucus. 2️⃣ Stress, poor sleep & irregular bowel habits – Can cause irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), where mucus is common. 3️⃣ Less commonly, infection or colitis — if loose motions, abdominal pain, fever, or increasing blood are present. 👉 Lupride injection causes absence of periods, that is expected and not dangerous, but it does not cause blood in stool.
Next Steps
Consult a doctor urgently if: ❗ Blood increases ❗ Severe pain while passing stool ❗ Diarrhea, fever, weight loss ❗ Blood mixed with stool (not just on surface) If symptoms persist, local examination + stool test may be required. You can relax — in most cases this is benign and treatable, not serious
Health Tips
What you should do now: ✔ Increase water intake ✔ High-fiber diet (fruits, vegetables, isabgol at night) ✔ Avoid straining during motion ✔ Sitz bath with warm water if pain/burning present

It's due to paralytic ileus , and due to less motility of gut and peristalsis its causes constipation. Constipation causes hard stool and hard stool may causes anal fissure so anal wall is rupture and bleeding occure frequently. So you need dietary change and eat more fibrous diet and you need to also stool softener and medicine to relieve your symptoms, its completely reversed in 3 to 5 days, please connect me on practo for further management and evaluation.

I understand this is stressful — seeing blood + mucus in stool is scary. Most commonly this happens due to piles/fissure, bowel irritation or infection. It is not directly related to Lupride or endometriosis surgery. Stress, poor sleep and constipation can make it worse.
Next Steps
If it happened once or twice: increase fluids + fibre, avoid straining. If it repeats: do stool routine + CBC. If bleeding continues >2–3 days, or you have pain/fever/loose stools — please consult a doctor for proper exam.
Health Tips
Avoid spicy food, sitz bath in warm water if anal pain, don’t ignore persistent bleeding.
