Blisters on body and eyes swollen
Hi my baby is 10months old, iam not sure whether he got bitten by insect. Last week the left eye got lightly swollen. 2-3days later it got worse and all over the body we can see small blisters appeared and it's been a week and then both eyes are swollen and blister around mouth, face, back, legs got spreader. I consulted a pediatric, he gave me RHYNIL Drops (Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine) and MOXIKIND-CV Drops (Amoxycillin + Clavulanate) as well a calosoft-af lotion and neosporin antibiotic ointment. I was using this from two days and I'm not sure whether I can use this because it is mentioned as shall not be used below four years of age. so could you please suggest me why this happened to my baby is this chickenpox/ allergic/ heat rash/ any other reason baby does not have any fever or cold he is active. so I am worried because it's been from 1 week and still it's not reduced. Could you please suggest any medication for this

The rash looks more like prickly heat. For small babies medication has to be used carefully. If there is no cold anti cold syrup is not needed. Mostly anti cold medication is not advised for small babies. Only saline nose drops may be enough.
Next Steps
The rash requires careful evaluation and safe medication.

Images show diffuse maculopapular rash on trunk with periorbital edema and perioral crusting — pattern consistent with viral exanthem. Chickenpox less likely given absence of classic vesicles. MOXIKIND-CV and Calosoft can continue.
Next Steps
Monitor for fever. If rash worsens or fever develops, in-person review essential. Should resolve in 5–7 days. For detailed consultation, feel free to connect with me on Practo or WhatsApp no. 88888914 three seven Dr. Abhishek Jain | MBBS MD Pediatrics | PGPN Boston University
