Since both eyes are equally affected, she will not have lazy eyes or permanent drop in vision. There is no urgency for surgery. Bring her when she is at least 6 months old. She may require one surgery at that time so that her eyes can open and she can see the world. Another surgery may be required when she is a few years old to make her eyes cosmetically perfect. Since she is 2 weeks old she needs to get basic vision test.. that is VEP and preferential looking test..
And once her eyes are examined then she can go ahead for surgery within 3 months..
Her eyes are opened bit now that means she does not have severe blepherophimosis. .
Results after surgery for this disease is very good
