We had our first intercourse and the blood came out. It's been 24hours and the blood is not stopping? How to stop blood and prevent infection?

If it is from hymen it will stop it's own But sometimes due to forceful insertion there may be vaginal trauma or laceration. If does not stop or bleed profusely go to gyno.
