Hi I have black phlegm after 6 months of quitting smoke. There is some tightness in the chest area where X-ray and CT scan was normal could any one please suggest me whom I should approach for clearing this.

Could be fungal infection.. Meet a chest physician for sputum fungal mount and culture.. Get BAL for sputum
