Pinching the tender point nd then applying ice causes temporary relief...but still I can palpate the tender points over the centre of the cheek...I have the ache when I smile,talk,eat...I'm on soft diet...pls advise me...wat all physiotherapy modalities are there to tackle my problem?

Ma'am you require to have wholesome comprehensive management plan in place for your rehab. One or two modalities in singular approach is not gonna help. Firstly you need to get yourself evaluated for internal articular disc derangement in TMJ , for which you can do lateral x-ray of open and close mouth position. As well as a thorough clinical evaluation by an experienced physiotherapist with relevant experience of handling such cases will help channeling things further from you.
Next Steps
get the lateral TMJ XRAYS AND see a TMJ mobilization expert physio.
Health Tips
don't overdo the icing routine, avoid undue and excessive exposure to heat and cold as the sensitive nervous structures pass nearby to your pain points
