Big baby -38 weeks

Asked for Female, 27 Years

My baby is 3.11 kg at 36 weeks 4 days pregnant. I don't have gestational diabetes. What could be possible reasons ? I was 55kg before pregnancy, now 73? I started exercising for past 3 days .past then I was bed rest Doctor is suggesting for induction due to fact . 38 weeks by Friday

It can be due to increase in weight gain beyond expected as in pregnancy one kg per month is ideal but on an average I have gained 2 kgs per month. So after 37 weeks baby is a matured term baby if the cervix is favourite definately opt for induction if u want normal delivery as 40 weeks baby will grow even more big so as to end up in a operative delivery
