My wife had a miscarriage on 17th Aug and we have done bhcg yesterday it still shows 44. Earlier doctor said may be my wife have ectopic pregnancy so to confirm we have done tvs on 14th sep which shows no ectopic pregnancy..she have normal bleeding from last 1.5 month.. Please advise why bhcg is still detected in her report.. Also fyi we have no intercourse in between so there is no chance of new pregnancy at all.. We are very tensed plz advice

Beta hcg 44 is too low to see anything on scan. U need to repeat the beta hcg test every week until it falls to less than 5
