Base of the front teeth is turning red
I was having cavity and starting of pyria in my teeth. I consulted a doctor, she did the cleaning and filling in my teeth and she also gave me some paint that is used for teeth, I am using it in the night but it turns out that base of the front teeth is turning red(like the color of betadin). Is it good or suggest me something for teeth whitening.

Gum paint is always given to sooth up and decrease swelling of gums.it is good for gum health.but as you mentioned  gums turning red it may be possible some chemical in gum paint is irritating or you may be allergic to it.ask your doctor to change it.cleaning is always done to enhance your oral health, which is mandatory in case of pyorrhea. For teeth whitening you can opt for bleaching or prosthesis such as veneers
Next Steps
