Chiropractic Mobilization will help. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Once the disc is out if its place there are very slim chances that it will go back. Surgery is recommended in the cases where the symptoms are unbearable pain, severe muscle weakness, unable to move the legs, walk or stand and any neurological symptoms for a long period of time. If there is no major decline in functional level of a person then Physiotherapy can surely help and will prevent further disc problems.
