I want to know what temperature is considered as fever in a 2 months old baby. My baby's armpit temperature is 98.6 F. But he is active, taking timely feeds, normal bowel movements. His infection level in blood too is negative. Please suggest.

Any temperature more than 99 in the armpits(because you have to add 1 degree to it),i.e 100 or more is fever.
As long as he's active and playing and feeding normally and passing urine normally, relax!
Remember, small babies are very thermolabile, they pick up surrounding temperature fast, which I think is the case here.
As it's so hot in NCR,keep him in cool surroundings using AC.
Ensure comfortable clothes and regular feeds.
