  4. Baby's head shape unusual. It's normal.

Baby's head shape unusual
My baby is 11 weeks old and her head appears long and elongated when viewed from the side. It appears oval when viewed from the top. We can still feel her soft anterior fontanelle. Her OFC at birth was 33 cms and at present It's 39 cms. I'm worried about her unusual head shape. Please advice if it's normal.

Was  she preterm. Headshape remodifies upto say 2 years.. so do not worry.. but keep a watch on head circumference by charting it so that any abnormal increase can be found.
