Baby oral thrush
My baby girl is 2 months 7 days old and she has oral thrush as diagnosed by my pediatrician yesterday.. Sir prescribed candid mouth paint to be used twice in a day so I started applying it her today.. She has been crying only in the evenings since yesterday and also being drowsy and dull since yesterday.. Does thrush cause drowsiness and stomach discomfort also in baby? How many days should candid mouth paint be used for her? Please advise iam worried as she is not showing interest in feeding

Candid mouth lotion locally. Is right treatment. Do it only twice. It does not cause drowssiness. Give lots fluids. You can give ORS. YOU CAN APPLY HONEY INADDITION. . ADD NUTROLIN B SYRUP orally1TSF ONCE A DAY...If she is drowsy consult physically with Pediatrician. Baby requires lots of fluids. Give banana mash. Do swab test from the mouth ulcers. It will prove if it is candidiasis. Use folic acid with iron 1tsf once a day.
Next Steps
Hygiene is first , nutrition to be taken care off.
