My baby ia 8 month old boy with 6.4 kg wt nd 67cm height.
He had a poor appetite wih no gain in wt. So
Doctor suggested .5 ml cypon BD .BUT MY SLEEPING excessivly after tking cyppon. Is it safe to continue

Weight at this age largely depends on birth weight. If he is 2.5 times of his birthweight then that will be sufficient. Length depends on both length at birth and height of parents. But both length and height both for his age is not that alarming low that he should be investigated for that. All you need is to track his growth by monthly recording and charting his growth on WHO growth Charts.
There is no role of giving cypon to him at this stage.
You can give me iron and multivitamin supplementation which could help him a bit if he is deficient in that.
Increase protein intake- Give egg, Pulses, Jaggry, a little extra oil or ghee in his food. These things will help.
