Hello sir thanks practo doctors for immediate revert
May I know my baby girl was week old while hospital discharge doctor written some baby jessy drop for May be gases. After 2 hours of feeding please suggest can I start. Is it mandatory to give drop for new borns even my baby I observe she getting gas and heavy feeling stomach.
Can I give her or is it comman to all new borns

Hello, A baby is generally exclusively breast fed till 6 months of age.
Baby should be burped properly after each feed for at least 10 minutes.
Regular use of any enzyme drops should be discouraged.
A small amount of gas formation is quite common in neonates and infants.
You may give drop Colicaid 0.5ml sos for abdominal discomfort, but don't use it regularly.
