Baby' jaundice
My daughter is 17 days old. On 3rd day doctor checked bilurubin and it was of 10. Doctor discharged her. Again on 5 days bilurubin was 15.98. Doctor admitted her and given phototherapy for 3 days. Post 3 days it was 9 and they discharged her. When she was at the age of 16 days, bilurubin increased to 14.98. I want to know the possible reasons and please suggest the best doctor to consult with.

These are some of the answers I need to know before answering your query... There are lots of causes of prolonged jaundice in newborn including blood group incompatibility, inadequate milk intake, infections etc
