Baby hitting himself with hands on head
My baby is 16 months old and he hits himself to head with his both hands whenever we didn't give him what he need or for some other action.This is seen more often these days , is it normal or how can we avoid this..request your inputs on this.

These are called Temper Tantrums. If you give into him whenever he does this he will accustomed to this kind of behaviour. * Do not encourage such behaviour. *Ask him specifically what is it that he want or else he is not gonna get it * Act to him just becoz he is doing this there is even more chance he is not gonna get it. * Time out method : let him do whatever crying/self hurting for fixed period of time and then if it still continues discipline him
