Baby has a Granuloma
My 5 week old Baby Has a bit of umbilical cord left, I believe it’s granuloma, the skin is a bit red around and there is discharge. Go advices on the phone to put a cream on Fusidic Asid cream. I don’t know where and how to put it and will it make granuloma go away? What to do for my baby to have normal belly button?

No,fusidic acid cream won't solve the problem.
The standard treatment now is simply clean it with spirit twice a day and apply table salt once a day,it'll heal in a weeks time.
If not improving,will have to be chemically cauterized using silver nitrate.
