Hi Doctor, My baby is 5 month 22 days old. Her birth weight 3.48 kg and current weight is 7.59kg. when I can introduce food to baby. Which foods I can start with and how much I can give in initial days. Please suggest.

Hi, Start complementary feeding after 6 months You can give vegetables and fruit purée, rice, Ragi and sooji kanji(liquid form)

Hi! You can start complementary feeds once baby is 6months old. To start with I would recommend fruits and vegetable purées, various porridge etc Quantity let the child decide . Do not force and you can start once a day and slowly increase
