Hi,
My daughter is 1 month 8 days old, taking only breast milk 2 hrs once .
she cries while urinating and motion from past 10 days.
She does frequent semi liquid motion and urinate almost 2 times with in 1 hour.
I consulted doctor he gave 'walamycin- antibacterial' but still she cries 3-4 times a day before she poop.
Kindly suggest us what i can do.
Thanks
Swathi

This is absolutely normal. All babies cry just before urination and while pooping. That's the only way a baby can express discomfort! An exclusively breastfed baby is not likely to get an infection. I suggest you omit the antibiotics prescribed. It is very normal that babies poop immediately when a feed is going on... That's a normal reflex.
Next Steps
Continue exclusive breastfeeding and burp baby well after each feed.
Health Tips
As long as baby is feeding well, there is no need to worry.
