My 6 months baby born prematurely at 35 weeks. Her birth weight is 2.2 kg and now she is 6.8 kg. In our recent doctor consultation, echo scan is recommended since doctor told there's murmur. We just got the report of echo scan and results are mentioned as below:
IMPRESSION:
CONGENITAL ACYANOTIC HEART DISEASE LARGE OSTIUM SECUNDUM TYPE OF ASD Bx 9x 11mm
LEFT TO RIGHT SHUNT.
NO PULMONARY HYPERTENSION SINUS RHYTHM DURING THE STUDY.
We are concerned about this report. Please tell us if it is critical for baby or cause any serious issues in future. What should be the future steps to be followed for the baby.
