Baby boy has swallowed miconium
My new born son has swallowed dirty fluid when born on last Saturday 15th Sept..he has been kept in ICU. He was breathing fast when brought to the hospital but as per latest update he is recovering and drinking mother's milk too and is also crying properly.
I want to know how long it takes for the recovery under this circumstances. Please advise

A lot of factors effect the prognosis,but if he's already taking breastfeeds,recovery is excellent.
I think 48-72 hours more are required to discharge the baby.
