Does axis while making of glasses really matter in case of small cylinder powers of -0.5 and -0.25?. The thing is that I got glasses made as per lenskart eye checkup and they made 180 degree Axis powers for lenses of both eyes . However upon examination of local opthalmologist, the axis for left eye is coming around 17 and right eye is same 180. I am also experiencing less optical clarity in my left eye after wearing glasses as compared to right. However, when I hold glasses little farther off from the eye, overall clarity improves and then when I again bring glasses near to the eye and wear it, the vision in left eye again becomes little bit blurry.
Do you feel this is the issue of axis , as per the description of problem? . I don't have other symptoms of headache etc .

The axis can create such issues in clarity. However, these changes in axis do not effect the health of the eye. If you are satisfied with the visual clarity, continue the same glasses. If not, get them changes. Even the tilt of your head can cause small changes in the axis.

Hi
Wrong axis , power can cause a problem.
Though in your case , it looks like very slight difference...
Do double check with your doctor for the number and you may change it.
Or if with both eyes you are fine, no headache etc...you may try using it and evaluate if you are ok with that.
