Asking about the safety of a medicine
Hello..I am currently 32 weeks pregnant.i had this severe stomach pain and loose motion from yesterday night .ended up passing watery stool about 15-20 times ,along with it vomitting.5-6 times .even the water or ORS I tried to have,was coming out with vomit.andeas causing me this huge stomach pain ,in the upper abdominal region. I consulted with my gynaecologist.he advised me to take ORS along with metrogyl 400 thrice a day.i have taken 2 metrogyl ,one after my breakfast and another after lunch.the loose motion seems to have stopped and the vomitting too. But I wanted to know is metrogyl 400 safe during pregnancy? Will it harm my baby anyway?
