Hi,
My 4 yr old kid is suffering from viral flu.
Doc has prescribed Ascoril LS Syp (not junior).
Can Ascoril LS syp ( 5ml - 3 times a day )given to a 4 yr kid ?
I thought Ascoril LS junior is for kids and Ascoril LS is for adults !!
Kindly advise.

Yes can be given. It's a misconception that junior is for kids and normal for adults. It all depends on child's weight and dose prescribed.
Hope it helps
