No problem.. If you took rabies vaccination within 3 years then only booster dose is enough Any scratch or abrasion, the very imp step is wash with soap and tap water continuously for 15 to 20 min.. It will kill majority of rabies virus.. If any doubts please contact me

After the first complete course, you must have developed immunity against the virus. WHO recommends only 2 booster doses on repeated biting . Studies indicate that there's less risk of infection if such regimen is followed. You do not need to worry.
Next Steps
wound washing in running tap water with detergent/ soap for 15-20 minutes help in reducing likelihood of infection. This should be the first step after Dog bite.

Yes, your treatment was appropriate. Since you had already completed a full course of the rabies vaccine in January 2025, only two booster doses (on Day 0 and Day 3) were needed after the new scratch in September — as per WHO  recommendations. Receiving the vaccine in both arms is fine and based on hospital practice. You’ve completed the correct schedule and are well protected. No need to worry.
