I have lower jaw pain under the ear with mild swelling and ear pain for 3 months.Been to different doctors. No definite answer yet.Last week I had a consultation with OMFS.He said it looks like TMJ. Another dentist said it looks like eagle syndrome. Very confusing. My symptoms are,ear clogged, ringing and some music pitch sound in ear, lower jaw pain under the ear, side of the neck swollen and feel a small lump/bump on the side of the neck, sore pain in the neck Continuously,sore pain on one spot of the head on right side above the ear,jaw clicks and pops when open the mouth.I also feel that my mouth stay open while I sleep at night. I wake up during my sleep consciously to close my mouth. Last night I feel like half snore and I gasp for air and I wake up to close my mouth.My mouth was so dry. I am not using any night guards.All these symptoms looks like tmjd or something else?My pain is very sore and continuous in the neck, head, ear and lower jaw under ear.hurts to touch few spots.
