Any diet to increase AFI (32weeks now)
Hi Doctors.. Is there any diet that can help increase AFI? Now 32Weeks Mild sym IUGR Cardiac normal November normal AFI on 16/04 - 10.5 Now on 21/04 - 8.7 weight 1450.. Thanks in advance

The less AFI might be due to intra uterine growth restriction.high protein diet,rest,plenty of fluids are the general advice.but specific to your case if anything needed then consult individually

Eat healthfully. Healthy foods and protein   help keep your baby well nourished. Drink adequate  water and fluids.lie on left lateral side avoid sleep on back this will give more oxigen to your baby,take adequate sleep avoid unhealthy   beverages coffee

follow up with growth Scan , Doppler, delivery should be in  wellequiped hospital with NICU setup, c section facility.

Be aware of your baby's movements. A baby who doesn't move often or who stops moving may have a problem. If you notice changes in your baby's movement, call your doctor.

AFI is slightly low. Unfortunately no diet can actually hep. The treatment is regular monitoring with growth scan and colour dopper. If the report is OK, delivery should be done in NICU set up by 37 weeks. If the report is not good, you may need premature delivery.
