Hi i have recently experienced a bp of 140/100 i went to doctor they gave me medicine and later i had an echo. Then found that i have high anxiety. so my question can anxiety be measured in echo and can it be cured or i hv to continue life long medicine for anxiety n bp?

Anxiety can not be seen in echo its a psychological illness. I need more details from tou to determine if the high bp is due to anxiety or due to familial hypertension. If its a familial hypertension then you might need medicines for lifelong. The anxiety can be taken care of with regular exercise, meditation, relaxing music and counselling in consultation with a psychiatrist
