Hello. Alprax is Benzodiazepine group of drug, which is an anti-anxiety medication. It has multiple side-effects and potential drug-dependance on long-term use. Used for acute anxiety .Possible side effects include:
Jaundice ,Hallucinations ,Dry mouth ,Ataxia, slurred speech ,Suicidal ideation ,Urinary retention infrequent Skin rash, respiratory depression, constipation Anterograde amnesia and concentration problems Drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, fatigue, unsteadiness and impaired coordination, vertigo.

I can understand your concern.
Who is your friend? Is he a doctor? How can he suggest any medications? Or does he deal in such drugs?
Its punishable and more importantly harmful to take this medication without a doctors prescription.
Yours looks like a drug seeking behaviour.
Its absolutely not a drug whixh yiu can play around with.
Consult a psychiatrist in person along with your friend for further evaluation and management.
