Anxiety for bloodwork

Asked for Female, 16 Years

I have to take a few blood tests in a couple of weeks (CMP Comp. Metabolic Panel, TSH Thyroid Stim Horm 3rd Generation, CBC w Differential) and I have very bad anxiety for it. Would a prescription of Diazepam (Valium) obscure blood test results?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. There is nothing to be anxious or scared about the tests. I wouldn't advise you to take any medicines. Besides, you cannot get such drugs without a prescription. So quit thinking about it. Listen to music, meditate and do that kind of things to fight stress and anxiety. Best regards.
