Antipsychotic drugs and related diseases

Asked for Male, 26 Years

I'm taking antipsychotic drugs for several years. Due to the long term usage of these drugs i suspect that I have cardiovascular disease. When I googled about this these medicines can create cardiovascular disease my ECG results are normal. What kind of diet should I follow and how to deal with these side effects because,I'm still under medication.

Side-effects vary from drug to drug, So it depends on the medications you are taking. If ECG is normal, and you do not have any symptoms it is advisable to take Routine health check up for Cardiac issues if any. It is not necessary that every Patient will have symptoms complications. As a routine precaution to prevent cardiac disease you need to take low fat, low carbohydrates increase the fibre, avoid smoking if any.
