Hi.. Could you let me know what is the next therapy if Sompraz HP kit does not work? What othet medicine can b taken to get rid of H pylori?

This is Dr.Harsha,consultant Gastrointestinal and Minimal access Surgeon from Bangalore, From the above description I gather that you had acid peptic ulcer disease of the stomach following which you underwent an endoscopy which showed helicobacter pylori infection and were started on sompraz HP kit. Before advising you on the next step of Management I would like to to ask you a few more questions related to your biopsy.
Next Steps
the HP kit has to be taken for a period of of two weeks. also we need to confirm whether or not you are having any other pathology of the abdomen which might be contributing to the persistence of the disease before starting a new therapy for h pylori. please consult me once so that I can have a clear understanding of your disease before I can prescribe any medications
