Anti D at 27 weeks
Hi , Took anti D at 27 weeks of pregnancy will it cover until 40 weeks full term or only 39 weeks of pregnancy any harm to my baby in last week of pregnancy, generally injection only covers 12 weeks.

The guidelines recommend a single dose of inj Anti D at 28 weeks. The baby blood group is checked after delivery, and if Rh Positive , you will receive another dose of Anti D inj that time.

This injection is given only prophylactically in case if the babys blood group is RH positive So as of now you will have to wait till delivery to find out the babies blood group
