Anal fissure
I got to know about bleeding 6 days back and went to the doctor...he prescribed me medicine for 5 days but even after the 5th day the bleeding hasn't stopped when ever I go to the toilet. I informed the doctor about the same and he asked me to take the medicine for 2 more days if doesn't stop then he is going to operate it. ..I couldn't understand why operate? And is the bleeding harmful? What am I supposed to do should I continue with the medication or change the doctor please advise

Avoid straining during bowel movements. Straining creates pressure, which can open a healing tear or cause a new tear....
