First line of treatment for anal fissure is local application of diltiazem / nitroglycerine ointments. However if one has long standing recurrent symptoms then these may not be effective and has to be dealt with surgery

[ ] Hi dear, it seems you have developed fissure in ano. ( a cut in anal canal due to passage of hard stool. ) apply diltigesic ointment 2% three times a day after passing stool. Take Dabur nature care isabgol 2 teaspoon in on be glass of Luke warm water after dinner daily for 15 days. Do sitz bath. feel free to ask any further quary.
