Anal fissures are one of the most common problems that many people face and its due to irregular bowel habits and diet lacking fibre and constipation..But anal cancer is not caused by anal fissures usually…Unless they are infected and repeated injuries happen…So nothing to worry about and keep under a surgeon followup

Chronic anal fissure does not cause cancer. But an anal cancermay at times be wrongly labelled as an anal fussure or piles or hemorrhoid. In case you are not getting relief despite adequate treatment, please get it reviewed.

You should treat the ana fissure as soon as possible, rather than waiting for any cancer to develop , because we do not know what will cause cancer or what will not cause cancer, rather than waiting for cancer to develop, It’s better that we treat the anal fissure as soon as possible there are many successful treatments, presently available. Consult a proctologist for the same.
