What is the best way to get periods in an estrogen dominant amenorrhoa obese female who has normal TFT, SR. PROLACTIN and LH , normal USG, is inducing periods with meprate good? Is there a chance of endometrial hyperplasia if not menstruating? If she has to induce periods with meprate will she gain weight because of using synthetic progestins? Please help me finding a solution, thanks.

One must get menses at least every 3 months. So there is no need to induce menses before that. If you continue to remain amenorrhic, there is chance of endometrial hyperplasia. Hence the importance of inducing periods. Meprate can be used. Short course won’t lead to weight gain. You can also opt for natural micronised progesterone
